2009 – Part II

This comes as a surprise to me as it does to you. Never thought that another entry would make into my list that is worth reminiscing.

30 December 2009 1810hrs – Driving towards the railway station

It just hit me then! My last couple of days have been “normal”.. Wait a minute. That just isn’t right! What… How… When!

Yes. I happened to notice that my breathing rhythm has normalized. I don’t seem to have the urge of breathing deep. It still baffles me as to how it miraculously cured itself. As I write this, I’m excited at the turn of events, puzzled as to not having any answers to how it happened and intrigued (which hopefully will all make sense sometime).

2009 wasn’t all that bad after all.

Some memorable moments (or) events that were twisted enough to leave a scar on my mind forever…

1 Jan 2009 0730hrs – Mandya

Nearly missed an accident on the Mysore-Bangalore highway. It definitely wasn’t a great way to start 2009 for me.

3 April 2009 1130hrs – Bangalore International Airport, Bangalore

My first overseas travel. Had an awesome time and learnt a lot about their culture. It was pretty cool when my ears popped aboard a train to Scotland (was my first time on a high-speed train).

27 July 2009 2345hrs – CMH Hospital, Bangalore

A crazy day! Not something that I want to remember or re-live! More on that here.

01 August 2009 0745hrs – Buddy’s new car

Bandipur trip which resulted in the formation of the Aiyo-Paapas.

04 August 2009 1615hrs – BGS Apollo Hospital, Mysore

My first echocardiogram. Medical Science coupled with Technology is a boon to mankind. Also, my college pals are simply the best. Thanks guys for all the support!

17 September 2009 2000hrs – Back home

Took some time off from work. A much-needed vacation during which I learnt some valuable lessons.

A day I’m very proud of. One of those days which leaves a lasting mark.

Venkat’s ApartmentAdda gets a total makeover. Am very proud of my ex-sponsor He stuck to his guns and made it happen. Don’t see a lot of that these days.

14 December 2009 1000hrs – ThoughtWorks, Bangalore

Was back at work and happy to see those amazing people who I work with.

21 December 2009 2030hrs – Home

Received a mail from the “past” me, posted a month back which was good to reflect upon. Specially loved the PS part and NO i’m not saying it out here.

With a couple of my friends travelling next year, some working out of different offices, some being busy with what they do best, it’ll not be the same without them around. I’m hoping 2010 brings something new, something fresh, something challenging into my life that would make my 2010 blog post much interesting.

I don’t want to “try the new orkut!”…

Orkut dudes,

I cannot believe you took what was ’simple” (and elegant) and made it so complicated, totally cluttered with links, an “add your comment here” text box (Seriously?) under most of the items, hardly anything is readily accessible and has 5 colors to style my layout which quite frankly isn’t a bonus! At least I had hoped that you would push that big Ad banner somewhere below.
