Google Quick Search Box…
What does (Nicholas Jitkoff - Apple + Google) * QuickSilver result in? It equals “Quick Search Box”! Yup.. Finally, after waiting for months together, Google Quick Search Box is out on Windows platform. It isn’t as fancy as QuickSilver, but then again, we desperately needed a new generation of launchers. This is a beta release, and it seems promising. For one, it’s lightning fast. I’ve seen “Launchy” being sluggish at times, but QSB wins hands on, on that front. It’s very responsive, adapts quickly and indexing isn’t costly on your hardware anymore.
Here’s a screen shot of Google QSB

QSB indexes your “Programs” and bookmarks for now. It adapts pretty quickly to match your preferences and suggests appropriately. I’m eagerly waiting for QSBs Official Release. I know for sure that it’s gonna pack some goodies.
